30 AM....heading towards Charleston, SC

Everyone is accounted for, all fueled up, luggage packed, red bull is chilling, and Charleston awaits.  Here we go……Tina (that’s me, waving) drove the first shift, Winter Haven to Charleston.  Amber hung out for awhile and then she fell asleep in her african blanket.  Lauren popped in the music and the singing began….poor Amber.  While we were driving through Georgia, Lauren decided to play the license plate game, great idea. Then she came up with a new game, Toot Trucker Toot, (it’s when you get the truckers to honk) that’s how we met Tyron and Dwayne. Don’t worry, we named them, what kind of people do you think we are?

(it’s Amber) When we arrived in Charleston we weren’t really sure what to do or where to go. We found a Welcome Center and stopped in. There, we met a real character, Peter. Peter, had a broken finger that freaked me and Lauren out, yet Tina did not notice, she doesn’t judge. We had a hard time figuring out who he was talking to, due to his lazy eye, so we all stood close together and answered at the same time. With several comments like, ”Anything for three beautiful ladies.”, it seemed like he was ready to meet us for lunch. Weird. (Peter asked Tina) “Where are you from?”  she said Florida. “What nationaliy?” He was really in to Tina. Peter was a cool cat because he hooked us up with a good deal on a historical tour of Charleston, so we thought. We were referred to as the “new aged people” on the bus because we obviously were the youngest and we used debit. Randy was our driver and i sat in the middle. How the heck am i suppose to get a good view, let alone a good picture, from the middle? i’m taking Tina and Laurens pictures. The tour was informative and made us sleepy. Lauren slept, twice. Tina, the camera wiz, was taking pictures while elbowing Lauren to WAKE UP! The tour ended and we were READY to leave Charleston. It’s a beautiful place, but we had learned enough. Mrytle Beach, here we come.

(It’s Lauren) Take a ride with me cause i’m driving!!!  After the tour Gabby (or GPS) lead us to a stormy Myrtle Beach.  When we got there we put money in the meter and headed to take a walk on the beach.  The beach was BEAUTIFUL, but we had to beat the storm.  We took pictures of our feet in the sand (Amber had one black toe nail)  and Tina videoed me and Amber giving you all an update (which hopefully we will post soon…if it works).   When leaving the beach we thought it would be fun to take a picture of us jumping in the air.  Tina got some great shots of us!!!!  Back in the car….we loaded Tina in the back for a nap in the African blanket.  While driving some interesting things happened (or maybe it was the red bull talking).  Amber put on Daniel Tosh that seemed to crack me up to the point of tears…4 REAL!  THis adorable little boy had his face smushed up to the car window next to us…so funny.  AFter a good laugh we kept on trucking…then the little boy appeared again…”Look Amber it’s the cute little boy again”, I said.  When we looked over there he was with his shirt up, twisting his eight year old nipple, with his tongue going crazy back and forth.  LIttle Sicko!!!!!  AFter laughing until I cried…we got the heck away from that car!  Next stop…Bojangles!!  Yummy yummy!!!    THere we switched driver…while in the drive thru!!   From Bojangles to Woodbridge, VA there was 5 hours of NSync, Dixie Chicks, and three loud girls (that’s us) singing into loofas on stick!!  Can you see it……..

Arrived at Lances (Amber’s sweet cousin), ate Wendys, fell asleep watching Billy Madison….

Haha…we made it through day 1!!!  and yes we did ALLLLLL of that in one day!!!!!  AMAZING!!!  I KNOW WE ARE!!!!

Check back and keep up with us….
