Sorry it took so long to get back to you guys!! Once we got to Hickory, NC, things didn’t slow down for us until we got back home. However, once we got home, we all forgot out user name and password for the blog…ugh. Anyways, now we remember and we shall catch everyone up on our missing pieces of our adventure :)

Hickory, NC was our home for 2 nights. We woke up the next morning, it was so nice to SLEEP IN!! No alarm clock! We took our time getting dressed and headed to our #1 fav… BOJANGLES! We were fueled up with Sweet Tea and prob the best fries of our lives, we were ready for anything. So what did we do?? We hit up the Valley Hills Mall!! Did a little bit of shopping and headed back to Katie and Matt’s place and got ready for the baseball game. Hickory Crawdads vs, i don’t know who. $1 beer (aka $1 piss) , YUCK, but LC loves it!!  We ate the BIGGEST MOFO of a HOTDOG that we have ever seen and cheese fries! We don’t really know who won. Amber and Tina hung out in the box, goofing off with strangers and getting weird looks like, who are you and why are you in here? bahahaha And LC spent her time catching up with old buddies. After the game, the fun times weren’t over. Ti me to hit up LC’s favorite bar, Sundries. We had some good times and great stories from there. If you want to know about it, just ask one of us :D Tina was DD and everyone LOVED her for it!! We stayed at Katie and Matts one last night. Next morning, we’re off to Savannah, GA.

4th of July: We said goodbye to our friends and left Hickory, NC for Savannah, GA. But of course we needed to hit up Bojangles one last time. We arrived at our hotel around 1pm, Best Western, and immediately took showers. Ahhh it was so nice to lay around for a bit. This whole trip has been non-stop. We started watching That’s 70′s Show marathon and fell asleep, so nice! We woke up from our amazazazing nap and got dressed for a Savannah Ghost and Pirate tour. The tour included us sitting on a bus and watching video clips during each destination. We also got to see fireworks on our tour. Savannah is filled with very creepy and interesting stories. We then hit up Denny’s (which was inside of our hotel) chicken fingers, fries and milkshakes! Had a great nights sleep and woke up ready to explore Savannah in the daylight. We went to visit River Walk.  It had really awesome stores and an incredible eatery, Huey’s. Yummy yummy Benoit. It’s a hollow dough pastry covered with powdered sugar. We would eat them and the powdered sugar would fly everywhere, so of course, we turned that into a game. muy muy delicioso!! We the left Savannah, GA for St. Augustine, FL, our final destination before we go home. tear.

We arrive in St. Augustine, Fl just in time for another ghost tour. We got a good history/entertaining lesson, walked around for a while, took lots of pictures (lots of orbs) went to visit the St. Augustine Lighthouse and drove our tried donkeys home.

The ride from St. Augustine to Polk County was very sad. We had such an awesome time everywhere we went and the thought of returning to our normal lives, was a little depressing. These past 2 weeks have been the best! TONS of experiences and funny stories. It was amazing to see different sunsets, sunrises and landscapes. Absolutely BEA-UTIFUL! We were blessed to have such awesome people in our lives to allow us to crash in their homes for a bit. WE LOVE YOU GUYS! All 3 of us came back with an overwhelming amount of souvenirs!! From about 3 shot glasses per state, magnets, koozies, t-shirts, rocks, post cards, dinosaur eggs (true story) pictures, ect.

This was a once in a life time trip.

Worth every penny.

QUESTIONS WE OFTEN GET:

How much did it cost? about $800-$1000 or Priceless

Who’s the better driver?: Amber :D

Who’s the funniest driver?: it’s a tie. Tina and Lauren

Who’s the better singer?: it’s a tie. Amber and Lauren

Which place was your favorite?: We all enjoyed Maine the most. Boston was awesome too though & NYC was a blast as well.

How often did you fight?: Not at all. Fo real. We were fine. There was a point where Amber got a little annoyed so she was a bit moody, but no fights.

Where do you wish you could have gone?: Well the whole trip began with a plan to go to Montana, but that wasn’t realistic. It might have been nice to go into Canada since we were so close while at Niagara Falls.

What would you changed about your trip?: Nothing. It was perfect. ohhh yea, if we could do it all again, we would go on that boat ride at Niagara Falls and stayed longer in Maine. Even staying at the Vermonter was an experience we wouldn’t change.

Where was your favorite place to eat? Bojangles!! what!! what!!

Did you leave anything behind?: LC left her camera charger somewhere. Maybe in Vermont.

DId you get any tickets or accidents?: No accidents but 1 ticket. However, we don’t count that as a ticket. We were on the Jersey Turnpike, getting ready to pay our $1.25 toll but no one was there, so we kept going. About a month later LC got a ticket in the mail. A lovely picture of the backside of Lady Claire and a $26 ticket for running a $1.25 toll. We would have paid if someone was there. haha oh well

the end

peace out
